Last years coverage – Baltimore Grand Prix Shifts Into Town

August 14, 2012 – MDStreetScene will officially be covering the Baltimore Grand Prix weekend. We welcome your input on what you’d specifically like to see.

July 11, 2012 – RaceOnBaltimore.com lists Reserved Tickets to go on sale July 15th. Grand Prix construction begins July 30th.

July 10, 2012 – Grand Prix organizers say they are prepared to lose money, but will pay their bills

May 28, 2012 – Tickets on sale via TicketMaster – (Click Here). Race On LLC hires Tim Mayer as General Manager. Mayer has been CEO of the International Motorsports Association and the American Le Mans Series.

May 10, 2012 – Michael Andretti will be leading the 3rd team to put on the 2012 Baltimore Grand Prix

From the official Baltimore Grand Prix website: “The Baltimore Grand Prix will be a spectacular three-day “festival of speed” in downtown Baltimore, taking place September 2-4, 2011. It will be part of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series schedule and the 2011 American Le Mans Series schedule. The weekend event will feature world-class motorsports competition from several racing series, culminating in Sunday’s IZOD IndyCar Series race. In addition to the high-speed thrills of professional racing, a wide variety of entertainment and activities will be scheduled for people of all ages to create an exciting three days of speed and entertainment.”
